New York - Valentine's Day trip
Last weekend, I got the chance to go to New York again. This makes trip number 6 and this time, I got a chance to jam a lot more activities into my trip. First up was a nice dinner (for Valentine's day) at the #1 (based on Citysearch 2006, 2007) french restaurant called La Mangeoire. We actually chose it because of it's location. We only later found out it was #1 and when we had the meal, it was pretty clear why they've taken top place two years in a row.
The picture on the left is from Le Pain Quotidien. This is our second trip to this restaurant. The food there is simple but enjoyable. We're enjoying our hot chocolate/mocha (for those of you who've seen our pictures, you'll notice a similar one from last year. Same location, same beverages).
Besides the restaurants, I got finally make a trip to the observation deck of the Empire State Building. I've been to the basement many times to visit Jenny (her school is down there), but I never took the time to go to the top. The view up there was spectacular and I got to take some pictures. I'll post them up when I have a chance to go through them. 
Finally, we also took the time to see a broadway show. We went to see the musical rendition of Mary Poppins. It was a fun show. We got to sit in a location where Mary Poppins flew right by us.
Overall, it was a good trip. I'm glad I took the time to visit New York.
